Little Known Bird of the Inner Eye

Had a great week of running. My body was able to handle the medium/long runs with a fast recovery. The best thing is my energy seemed to increase throughout the week.

I was expecting to feel drained today because how much rest could I get from yesterday's 8 miler? But when I was sitting at work this morning I could feel the urge to get out and run, so I knew that was a good sign I would be hitting the trails hard later in the day.

I ran 2 miles to Busey Woods and then did snow loops for 2 hours and 13 minutes, followed by a 1 mile run back to town.

My endurance is getting ridiculously high, how much more can it climb?

As an exclamation point to the week, I somehow created a picture this evening which reminded me of a painting by Morris Graves.

Life is good when the day is filled with vigorous love...

It's great to hear that you are doing so well on your runs and maintaining good energy levels as well. I'm hoping to get outside tomorrow to run, but it has been so cold. My car wouldn't even start this morning. I hope you have a great weekend too!

Sorry to hear about your car not starting, Mazzie. I hope you can brave the cold and do some running tomorrow.

It is cold here, too, but it looks like it will be warming up a bit this weekend. Tomorrow I am taking it easy and running short - time to let my body recover.
