Jade Like Wine

Ran easy today, iced my knee, made a cake.

Rachel plucks a bit of frosting from her birthday cake

Walking home from work today I saw weeds in snow with melancholy shadows splayed at my feet. I thought of Harry Callahan, and seeing his exhibit with Jeff at the Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art a few months before I left the city.

A lot has changed since then. Photographic images are everywhere, and the quality is inspiring. It is just a matter of going out and loving the world.
